1. Purpose of the policy
This policy aims to prevent and combat corruption in all aspects of the activity of NIKA PHARM SH.P.K., a pharmaceutical distributor. We are committed to complying with the laws and regulations in force of the Republic of Kosovo and to providing a fair working environment, free from illegal and unfair practices.
2. Definition of corruption
Within the framework of this policy, corruption includes any action intended to obtain illegal property, services or privileges through bribery, abuse of office, fraud, or any other form of offence, as well as any act that helps carry out such activities.
3. Compliance with the law of the Republic of Kosovo
The company ensures that all of its activities are in full accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kosovo, including:
- Law No. 04/L-050 on the Prevention of Corruption
- Law No. 05/L-034 on Preventing Conflicts of Interest in the Public Sector
- Law No. 04/L-114 on the Declaration of Assets and Origin of Property
- Law No. 06/L-050 on Company Expenditures and Public Contracts
We also respect all international standards and good practices for fighting corruption and ensuring the transparency of our activities.
4. Corruption-prevention measures
- Training and awareness: all our employees and partners receive training on the anti-corruption policy and the relevant laws.
- Verification and monitoring of contracts: all contracts concluded by the company go through a strict control and assessment process to ensure they do not enable corrupt practices.
- Reporting of corruption: every employee, partner or third party is obliged to report any suspicious or illegal activity that may be contrary to this policy. Reporting can be done anonymously through secure channels established by the company.
5. Disciplinary action and sanctions
Any violation of this policy will have serious consequences, including disciplinary penalties, termination of employment and reporting of illegal actions to the justice system. This may also include investigation by the relevant Kosovo institutions, as well as liability for recovering any illegally acquired property.
6. Independence and transparency
The company ensures that all financial transactions are documented, clear and supervised, so that we can guarantee the honesty and transparency of our activities.
7. Review and update
This policy is reviewed and updated regularly to ensure it continues to comply with the legislation in force and international best practices. We are committed to constantly improving our processes and addressing any weakness or deficiency identified.
8. Leadership engagement
Senior management of NIKA PHARM SH.P.K. is fully committed to implementing and supporting anti-corruption policies, and ensures that all levels of the company are engaged in preventing and combating corruption.
